Friedrichshafen (Germany), September 20, 2023. Zeppelin Systems will be exhibiting together with owner-managed company Magdalena KITZMANN (Zeppelin Systems holds a majority stake) for the first time this year at the trade fair for process technology, analytics, processing of powder, bulk materials, fluids and liquids. From September 26 to 28, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the wide-ranging product and service portfolio of the two plant engineering companies. Whether for storage, mixing, transport, dosing, distribution, processing or analyzing high-quality bulk materials: As a powerful team, Zeppelin Systems and KITZMANN work together to create solutions for every customer challenge along the material handling process chain. We Create Solutions!
This includes everything from mixers to silos, components in pneumatic conveyor plants, smart control concepts to the production of turnkey plants and after-sales service. As an experienced plant manufacturer, Zeppelin Systems has been at home in a wide range of industries for many years and knows the needs and challenges of both national and international customers. Combined with optimum process and machine design as well as the production of components by KITZMANN, customers benefit from more than just saving time and money. Measurable production increases are also the result of the efficient collaboration between the two companies, which combine the best of both worlds of business. “KITZMANN stands for a high level of in-house production depth, and Zeppelin Systems is also impressive on an industrial scale,” says Albrecht Gräfe, Managing Director of KITZMANN. This is highlighted by a current customer order: Ten silos with a total storage capacity of more than 4,000 tons and three heating-cooling mixer combinations with an hourly throughput of 17,000 kg of material (annual throughput of 134,000 tons) were delivered within a very short time frame. Embedded in a centrally controlled system with maximum comfort and efficiency for the operator, this order for an owner-managed family business was delivered with flying colors. “Measured against other European projects in this customer segment, this scale is absolutely outstanding and confirms the concentrated clout of Zeppelin Systems together with KITZMANN,” adds Dr. Markus Vöge, CEO of Zeppelin Systems GmbH.
Further trade fair highlights at POWTECH 2023 in Nuremberg
In Hall 4 at Stand 524, a new display-hologram technology promises exciting insights into the Zeppelin Systems and KITZMANN components on offer. Two additional exhibits invite visitors to engage in conversation at the approximately 100-square-meter booth. There will be an update to the Zeppelin Systems RS 7 rotary sieve machine (applications in the food and plastics industry), as well as a screw conveyor from KITZMANN (applications for powdered materials and granulates in all geometric shapes). It goes without saying that the personnel at the stand will also be on hand to answer any questions regarding intensive, container, and horizontal mixers as well as heating/cooling mixer combinations. All mixers offer excellent product and result quality, high efficiency levels and modular adaptability. When it comes to silos, Zeppelin Plant Engineering stands out with its Smart Storage Solutions and the innovative Bolt-Tec system. Silos are bolted together on site at the customer's premises, thus eliminating the need for welding at the construction site. The segments are manufactured in an innovative and climate-friendly manner using friction stir welding technology. Installation costs are also possible with simple, subsequent volume expansion for a capacity of up to 1,000 cubic meters as standard. “As an integrated solution provider, we find the right process, machine, components, or turnkey plant engineering solution for every industry, sector or customer challenge,” says Hubert Stojanovic, Vice President Performance Materials at Zeppelin Systems GmbH.
