Store and discharge large volumes efficiently

At the beginning of the recycling process, fluffy materials with low bulk density are often present. These are the bulk materials that are difficult to flow and tend to form bridges when stored in silos, which can cause the material flow to come to a standstill. Therefore, we use silos with intelligent discharge bottoms, such as vibratory discharge bottoms or discharge screws, which activate the bulk material flow. This ensures a reliable, continuous material flow. We also provide the right answer to large quantities of fluffy materials: storage silos with volumes of up to 800 m³.

Optimum mixing quality due to effective homogenization

The homogenization of flakes or finished recyclates is currently of decisive importance in the recycling industry. For this purpose, we use blending silos such as the Centro-Blend. They offer a low-maintenance and low-wear alternative compared to mechanical mixers. They also ensure optimum mixing results. The Centro-Blend has a central mixing tube with discharge openings and deflector plates. In this way, it discharges the bulk material simultaneously from different heights, in equal parts. The flat surfaces of the deflector plates prevent product build-up or dead zones and are consistently designed for mass flow. To achieve uniform mixing, the flakes from the mixing tube are combined with the flakes from the annular space in the mixing chamber. This guarantees a high mixing quality for a volume of up to 300 m³.

For every bulk material the right conveying technology

No matter whether flakes or granules - we are pretty much your best partner when it comes to selecting the appropriate conveying technology for your bulk material. After all, the increasing quantities of recycled materials call for conveying capacities of up to 30 t/h. Long conveying distances of up to 1,000 m are also required. Among other things, our Lean-TEC flight conveying method at reduced speeds and low conveying pressure proves to be a particularly reliable method here.

Deodorizing for premium-quality granules

Odors are a typical challenge with recyclates. Removing them is therefore an important prerequisite before they can be turned into high-quality new products. Our deodorizing systems for continuous and discontinuous operation remove volatile organic compounds (VOC) from recycled plastics in a thermal process. In this process, the plastic granules are first heated to the required process temperature and then flushed with air for a certain residence time in a silo. In the process, the air absorbs the volatile foreign substances. With our exhaust air concepts, you use the process heat and produce energy-efficiently. The result: you reduce your energy costs and get premium-quality granules.

Safe degassing

Better safe than sorry: With our reliable and thorough degassing process, you achieve a high level of safety and operational reliability for your plant. Our silos with integrated step cone ensure that gas is injected at various points via differently dimensioned openings. Thus, the gas is distributed evenly over your product and can completely discharge residual monomers.
