Automatic Small Component Weighing System ASCW

The ASCW (Automatic Small Components Weighing System) automatically doses and weighs granular or powdered bulk materials with different bulk densities and flow properties. The system demonstrates its advantages particularly in the production of rubber compounds. Up to 40 material hoppers can simultaneously dose into the batch containers positioned on a circulating roller conveyor. Depending on the bulk material properties and the required accuracy, dosing screws or vibrating chutes are used. The scales are integrated into the circulating roller conveyor below the dosing units. Optional systems for bag insertion, bag sealing, labeling, and bag handling systems are available to fully automate the dosing and weighing process for batches of up to 25 kg, with a capacity of up to 2400 batches per day.

Intelligent weighing technology: Modular design for maximum precision and flexibility

The automatic small component weighing system is available in a single- or two-level configuration and features a modular structure. The system can be built in single- or double-row layouts and accommodates up to 40 material hoppers. Numerous variants are possible, leaving nothing to be desired. For example, fill level detectors (HL/LL) can be integrated, and both fixed hoppers with emergency slide gates and flexible hoppers with agitation units are possible. The bag or big bag feeding station can be equipped with a door, safety limit switches, or a vibrating screen. The individual filters either return material to the day bin or connect to a central aspiration system. Depending on the bulk material, different dosing units are used, such as dosing screws or vibrating chutes with shut-off valves and open aspiration. The square collection containers made of aluminum and polyethylene have a net volume of 48 liters and are equipped with RFID transponders. The circulating roller conveyor features light barriers and a 30 kg pneumatic lifting scale at each dosing position. Additionally, the system includes a 30 kg checkweigher, junction boxes for pneumatic control, and a field I/O box (optionally with or without weighing transmitter).
