The flexible hopper scale HSF (Hopper Scale Flexible) is primarily used for fully automatic weighing of powdered bulk materials such as carbon black and silica, but it is also well suited for granules. It can be flexibly adapted to various structural conditions and batch sizes. The dosing is carried out via dosing screws supported by an integrated weighing system with three load cells. The flexible scale container offers a cost-effective solution while ensuring complete discharge after weighing. Additionally, numerous options are available to provide you with a customized solution tailored precisely to your requirements.

The Small Flexible: HSF-S

The small series of the flexible powder container scale for smaller chemical batches

The small, flexible scale shows its advantages, especially in the fully automatic weighing of powdered and difficult-flowing bulk materials. These include, for example, carbon black, zinc oxide, stearic acid, lead sulfide, and silica, which can exhibit large variations in bulk density. The HSF-S is fed with the products to be weighed via dosing devices such as dosing screws. The achievable final system weighing accuracy depends not only on the high precision of the load cells used but also strongly on the dosing accuracy of the dosing devices in fine flow and the material properties of the individual bulk materials.

The Large Series: HSF-L

The large series of the flexible powder container scale for big batches

When large quantities need to be weighed fully automatically, our large flexible scale HSF-L comes into play. It excels especially with powdered and difficult-flowing bulk materials that exhibit significant variations in bulk density, such as carbon black or silica, and is proven in many applications worldwide. The HSF-L is fed with the products to be weighed via dosing stations or dosing devices such as dosing screws. The achievable final system weighing accuracy depends not only on the dosing accuracy of the dosing devices used in fine flow but also on the material properties of the individual bulk materials and the selected load cells. For this reason, Zeppelin Systems places special emphasis on their selection.
