Specifications often include parameters such as the appropriate discharge angle, which must be calculated with consideration of wall friction coefficients, or the correct sizing of silos. Our paint industry experts support you every step of the way—including selecting the ideal discharge system.

Our portfolio of in-house developed components ranges from mechanical discharge aids like vibrating floors to pneumatic systems such as aeration cones and fluidized beds. Many options, one goal: fast, efficient discharge with no bridging or sticking—and complete emptying of all formulation components.

Whether from bags, big bags, or octabins: To ensure the feed of raw materials is as dust-free as possible, Zeppelin Systems relies on filtration and aspiration systems that deliver truly spotless performance. Our filters can be precisely tailored to your needs—for example, based on the type of raw material or required throughput.

Jet filters, for instance, use automatic pneumatic cleaning to avoid material loss by returning collected dust directly into the process. Our aspiration systems operate under negative pressure and are used downstream to achieve minimal residual dust levels—ensuring clean, safe, and efficient production environments.

Zeppelin Systems offers a wide portfolio of rotary valve variants, enabling you to gently and accurately feed your specific product into the conveying line. And when we say specific, we mean it: pneumatic conveying can also be perfectly tailored to your application thanks to our advanced technologies.

Whether you require dilute-phase conveying under positive or negative pressure, secondary air systems, or dense-phase plug conveying—your needs determine the setup. The same applies to material selection: in addition to metal pipelines, we also offer rubber-lined conveying lines for handling sensitive materials such as certain grades of titanium dioxide that tend to stick to metallic surfaces.

Error-free weighing and dosing

No tolerance for tolerances! Staying true to this principle, Zeppelin Systems has developed ultra-precise weighing and dosing systems—for everything from minor ingredients to pigments and binders. Depending on your specific requirements, you can rely on fully automated systems for small components or high-performance weighing solutions for dosing poorly flowing powdered raw materials.

By adding a dedicated weighing unit for individual materials, our systems achieve exceptionally low tolerances—both for additives and bulk components. When feeding powdered materials into the dissolver, Zeppelin’s frequency-controlled dosing screws truly shine. They enable rapid feeding while meeting the exact processing demands of the mixing phase.

A special highlight: our custom-designed twin-outlet dosing screw, which allows materials to be conveyed into two separate dissolvers via clockwise or counterclockwise rotation—ensuring maximum flexibility and efficiency in your production line.
