Sample project

Renovation of the wall of the Ludwig Dürr Hall in Friedrichshafen

Just one example among many, but groundbreaking for the sustainable development of plant engineering company Zeppelin Systems: With the installation of a façade-integrated photovoltaic system in Friedrichshafen, in collaboration with SOLARWATT Germany and PRO+, Zeppelin is making a strong statement for the future of energy-efficient construction.

The sustainable solution comprises 1,280 glass-glass modules seamlessly integrated into the 8,000 m² façade of the Ludwig-Dürr production hall in Friedrichshafen. The innovative modules have a total output of 467 kilowatt-peak and, once commissioned, generate over 317 megawatt-hours of solar power annually.

This is sufficient to operate the entire plant engineering site at Lake Constance largely energy-autonomously, saving around 140 tons of CO₂ annually!
